John works with the executive, leadership and managers to turn best intent to change into action, desired outcomes and success.

 

As a highly capable project, change and commercial leader and coach, John proactively and positively influences and delivers meaningful change, with his focus on people, performance and customer experience.

His focus is on ownership, structure, engagement and accountability at all levels.​​

So who is John?

 

John has been successful in leading and managing teams through organisational, process and behavioural change and transformation in small, medium and large service related businesses for more than twenty years.

 

His success is underpinned by strong commercial, operational, planning and change management capability, and an inquisitive, intelligent and engaging approach.

More recently this includes :- 

  • Commercial Transformation Project Manager and Change Lead with ASX listed Domain Group (tech, data and property marketplace) where he worked with the ELT and senior commercial, operational and people teams to deliver an accelerated commercial transformation program as toi how they face their business customers across ANZ,

  • Change Lead with ASX listed Scentre Group (owner operator of 40 Westfield centres across ANZ), working with the Leasing Leadership, Technology, Finance and People teams to realise their key 'partnership' strategy, including the implementation of Salesforce and evolution of team work practices and behaviours,

  • Interim Commercial (Change) Lead with KinCare (privately owned national health services provider) to review, solution and implement the change required as to how customers are introduced to their services amidst a complex stakeholder mix, achieving a refreshed, organised, enthused and collective approach to market,

  • Business Consultant with Mable (online NDIS and HCP service provider and digital disruptor) to qualify the potential of a recognised customer (business) channel, recommendations, go forward, road map for engagement and execution,

  • Business Consultant with HomeMade (online self management enabler of support services) leading the refinement of the customer experience journey, including training needs analysis, creation and delivery, as well as leader coaching on the fundamentals of change.

Prior to establishing litmus360 in 2018, John held senior state based and national operational and sales leadership roles with News Corp Australia.

  • As the Director of Sales Operations he and his distributed national team provided operational support to the commercial functions across Australia, focused on the strategic and tactical optimisation of an evolving, complex and dispersed sales force and leadership hierarchy,

  • This included CRM (Salesforce) optimisation, sales organisation development and optimisation, new and common ways of working, standardisation (and centralisation) of the incentive mechanism to be aligned to common objectives, territory management framework and planning, process standardisation and so on.

John has led multi channel national sales teams with direct and personal responsibility for tens to hundreds of millions in revenue, with senior leadership roles in media, commercial and executive recruitment, advertising and digital startups. 

On a personal level

 

John has been a friend, team leader and volunteer to the disadvantaged patrons of Rough Edges in Darlinghurst / Kings Cross, supported recent Afghani refugees as a career mentor via Deakin Create, a career mentor for UNSW and during Covid provided pro-bono support to The Big Issue.

 

John is also the father of two generally awesome adult children, loves salt water swimming, pilates, walking and lycra free bike riding.
